With the large-scale and diversified development of the domestic photovoltaic industry, centralized ground power stations, industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaics, household rooftop photovoltaics, agricultural photovoltaic complementarity, floating water power stations and other scenarios are expanding synchronously. The module power continues to upgrade to 700W+, and 1500V high-voltage string is fully popularized. The demand for on-site performance testing is showing a trend of lightweight, high-speed and high-precision. Traditional desktop IV equipment has a large volume and cannot be moved. Old portable models have pain points such as slow scanning speed, insufficient temperature radiation compensation accuracy, lack of high-voltage protection, and cumbersome data processing, which make it difficult to meet the diverse operational needs of power station completion acceptance, annual operation and maintenance inspections, on-site sampling by third-party testing agencies, and component fault tracing. Based on years of research and development experience in photovoltaic testing instruments, LAILX in Suzhou has launched a new LX-PV33 portable IV tester. It has completed a comprehensive technical upgrade for outdoor full scene detection pain points, creating an integrated testing solution that integrates curve mapping, parameter calculation, environmental compensation, and intelligent diagnosis, setting a new standard for on-site performance testing in the photovoltaic industry. The core breakthrough of LX-PV33 lies in balancing ultimate portability and laboratory level testing accuracy. The whole machine adopts a high-strength engineering protective box integrated packaging, and the internal circuit is treated with shock absorption and isolation. The weight of the whole machine is greatly reduced, and it can be carried and transported by a single person without air transportation restrictions. It can be quickly deployed in small and complex working environments such as mountains, rooftops, water, and greenhouses. The equipment is equipped with a self-developed high-speed power load module, which supports synchronous testing of 1500V high-voltage string and high-power single and double glass components. The scanning speed is 60% faster than traditional equipment, and the complete IV curve acquisition of a single component only takes a few seconds. It can complete batch testing of hundreds of components in a single day, greatly reducing the on-site construction period and effectively reducing labor costs. At the hardware level, a four wire Kelvin detection circuit is equipped to completely eliminate the numerical deviation caused by cable contact resistance. The measurement errors of core parameters such as open circuit voltage, short-circuit current, maximum power, fill factor, and conversion efficiency are controlled within the industry-leading range. It is compatible with all types of new photovoltaic modules such as TOPCon, HJT, perovskite stack, double-sided double glass, etc., and is suitable for the current mainstream high-efficiency battery technology detection needs.
In response to the industry challenges of variable outdoor lighting and large temperature fluctuations, LX-PV33 is equipped with a professional STC standard conversion algorithm, a high-precision irradiation sensor, and a surface mounted temperature probe to collect real-time on-site irradiance and component temperature. It automatically completes standard operating condition correction without manual calculation, and the detection data is directly compared with laboratory standard testing conditions to ensure horizontal consistency of indoor and outdoor data comparison. The device is equipped with a high-definition touch operation screen, which can be seen clearly under strong outdoor light. The dual operation mode of touch screen and physical buttons is suitable for wearing insulated gloves in work scenarios. Zero basic operation and maintenance personnel can operate independently with simple training. The system has a built-in database of millions of component models, which automatically generates complete IV and PV curves for detection. It synchronously annotates implicit performance indicators such as series resistance and parallel resistance, accurately identifies performance defects such as PID attenuation, hot spot loss, hidden crack reduction, and poor welding, and does not require secondary software analysis in the later stage. Preliminary fault diagnosis can be completed on site.
Safety design is a key optimization area of LX-PV33. The whole machine is equipped with a dual high voltage protection system of software and hardware, which has multiple protections such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, reverse connection, and arc detection. It automatically discharges after testing, eliminating the risk of high voltage electric shock and fully complying with the safety regulations for high-voltage operations in photovoltaic sites. Equipped with a large capacity and long-lasting lithium battery, it supports uninterrupted outdoor testing all day when fully charged. It is also equipped with a fast charging interface, allowing for quick energy replenishment during lunch breaks; The storage module can locally store tens of thousands of sets of detection data, support dual channel export through USB flash drive and Bluetooth, and is equipped with PC intelligent analysis software to automatically generate standardized detection reports. It can be directly used for power plant acceptance archiving, third-party detection filing, and operation and maintenance data comparison and analysis. At the same time, the device reserves an expansion interface that can synchronize with the LAILX LXH506 portable weather station to collect comprehensive meteorological parameters and achieve one-to-one binding of performance data and environmental data, making the efficiency evaluation of the power station more data supported.
At present, LX-PV33 has been delivered in bulk to photovoltaic operation and maintenance enterprises, third-party quality inspection agencies, and new energy engineering companies in many parts of the country. Frontline feedback shows that this equipment completely solves the pain points of traditional instruments such as bulky, inefficient, and insufficient accuracy, and meets the testing needs of household small photovoltaics and large GW level ground power stations. The R&D leader of LAILX in Suzhou stated that LX-PV33 is a benchmark product created by the brand for outdoor on-site testing, and will continue to iterate algorithms to adapt to the new generation of high-power components and new battery technologies. In the future, Suzhou Laikesi will continue to deeply cultivate the photovoltaic testing track, using lightweight, intelligent, and high-precision instrument products to assist in the lean operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants, promote the standardization and digital upgrading of testing in the new energy industry, and provide hardcore equipment support for the high-quality development of the domestic photovoltaic industry.
