During the daily operation of photovoltaic power plants, heating hazards such as component hot spots, overheating of junction boxes, virtual connections in combiner boxes, and heating of inverter components can continue to erode power generation revenue, and in severe cases, may even cause safety accidents such as fires. This type of malfunction often manifests as abnormal temperature, which cannot be recognized by the human eye. Infrared thermal imaging non-contact temperature measurement technology has become the core means of power station inspection and troubleshooting of thermal faults. Shanghai LAILX is targeting the photovoltaic operation and maintenance, EPC acceptance, and third-party testing markets. It has launched the LX-F300 handheld infrared thermal imaging device, which combines the three characteristics of high-resolution imaging, high-precision temperature measurement, and portability and ease of use. It is a professional level handheld detection equipment for identifying thermal hazards in photovoltaic systems, helping power plants achieve early detection and disposal, avoid safety risks, and ensure stable power generation revenue. Compact, portable, precise imaging

The LX-F300 handheld infrared thermal imaging device is equipped with an uncooled vanadium oxide infrared focal plane detector, which has high-resolution imaging capability, a pixel size of 12 μ m, and a high frame rate dynamic imaging of 30Hz. It has excellent thermal sensitivity and can identify extremely small temperature differences. It can capture early weak heating anomalies of components without missing small thermal spot hazards. The device adopts MagicThermal detail enhancement imaging technology to optimize the representation of thermal image details. The contours of hot spots and hotspots are clear and distinct, making it easy for on-site personnel to quickly locate the fault location. In terms of temperature measurement, dual range intelligent switching is achieved, covering the temperature measurement range of -20 ℃~120 ℃ and 0 ℃~650 ℃. It can accurately detect surface heat spots on photovoltaic modules, as well as carry out high-temperature fault detection on electrical equipment such as inverters, combiner boxes, and cable joints. The temperature measurement accuracy reaches ± 2 ℃ or ± 2% (whichever is larger), providing quantitative temperature data for fault diagnosis and eliminating the drawbacks of relying on subjective experience in the past.
The instrument supports diversified temperature measurement modes, including center point temperature measurement, multi-point temperature measurement, area temperature measurement, and automatic tracking of hot and cold spots. Multiple monitoring points can be set simultaneously to visually view the temperature difference between different areas and automatically calculate the temperature difference between phases, making it convenient for operation and maintenance personnel to compare and analyze the temperature distribution of components and electrical equipment. The device supports free switching between three modes: infrared image, visible light image, and fused image. The infrared thermal image is overlaid with the visible light image, which can quickly correspond the thermal anomaly points to the physical location, reducing the difficulty of on-site recognition. The body is equipped with a high-definition color display screen that can be seen under sunlight, and the outdoor strong light environment still has clear images. The real-time synchronized display of images and temperature data makes the operation and interaction simple and intuitive. Frontline inspection personnel can proficiently operate and use it with simple learning. The whole machine follows the ergonomic handheld design, with a lightweight body that can be held and operated with one hand. It is not easy to fatigue when held for long-term outdoor inspections, making it very suitable for large-scale hiking inspections in power plants.

At the data recording and output level, the LX-F300 handheld infrared thermal imager can save thermal images and visible light comparison images, with complete temperature measurement parameters attached to the storage file. It supports local review and export, making it convenient for later fault review and detection report preparation. The protective performance of the equipment is suitable for outdoor working conditions, and the whole machine is resistant to falling and dust. It can adapt to the working environment of photovoltaic field sun exposure and large temperature difference. It is equipped with a large capacity battery, and the endurance meets the needs of all day outdoor inspection. In addition to hot spot detection of photovoltaic modules, this equipment can also be used for temperature inspection of inverter power devices, overheating troubleshooting of junction box terminals, cable joint fault detection, and can be extended to industrial testing scenarios such as electrical switchgear inspection and HVAC equipment inspection. It can be used for multiple purposes to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of equipment.

Nowadays, the safe operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants has become a key focus of the industry. If thermal faults are not detected in a timely manner, small problems will gradually evolve into large-scale damage, causing high economic losses. The LX-F300 handheld infrared thermal imaging device is widely used in ground large-scale power plants, mountain photovoltaics, industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaics, and household photovoltaics. It is suitable for daily periodic inspections of operation and maintenance enterprises, as well as for EPC project completion acceptance and third-party organization safety assessment work. LAILX adheres to the path of localization and independent research and development. Compared with imported products of the same type, it has obvious advantages in equipment procurement costs, localized after-sales service, and technical training. It provides equipment calibration guidance, free software iteration updates, and fast technical response services. With the continuous development of the new energy industry, safety and efficiency have become the main themes of industry development. The LX-F300 handheld infrared thermal imaging device, with its comprehensive strength of accurate temperature measurement imaging and portable practicality, continues to provide protection for the safe and stable operation of photovoltaic power plants, and helps photovoltaic operation and maintenance upgrade towards intelligence and refinement.
