With the iteration and upgrading of photovoltaic technology, double-sided double glass modules quickly seize the market with higher power generation revenue and excellent weather resistance. However, their double-sided photovoltaic power generation characteristics will interfere with the power conversion of conventional IV equipment, and ordinary testers are difficult to peel off the data errors caused by back panel irradiation, resulting in distorted efficiency judgment of modules and long-term difficulties in power station completion acceptance and fault tracing work. The LAILX R&D team has installed a self-developed dual glass irradiation correction database in LX-PV33 to address industry pain points. With the support of multi scenario measured data optimization algorithms, it can automatically shield the back side power generation interference of components, accurately calculate key parameters such as STC standard power, conversion efficiency, and filling factor of front solar cells, and achieve universal testing of all types of components including single glass, double glass, half glass, and stacked tile. This solves the industry problem of inaccurate detection of double-sided components from the root. At the hardware level, the equipment adopts a new generation of precision resistive load modules. Compared with traditional capacitive load models, the IV curve scanning stability is improved by 35%, the full range voltage measurement error is controlled within ± 0.3%, and the current accuracy can reach ± 0.5%. It supports up to 2000V string and synchronous testing of 40A high current components, completely breaking the limitations of the 1500V/30A range of old equipment and adapting to current high-power N-type and TOPCon component detection conditions.
Portable design is the core advantage of LX-PV33 outdoor inspection. The whole machine adopts an integrated compact body, abandoning the bulky structure of split type, and is equipped with a high-strength shock-absorbing portable box. It can be carried and transported by a single person, easily shuttling through complex work sites such as mountain photovoltaics, roof distributed, agricultural photovoltaic complementary, and fishery photovoltaic complementary. The equipment comes standard with wireless sensing probes that support wireless signal transmission up to 100 meters. Testing personnel do not need to touch high-voltage components up close, and can complete data collection in a safe area, avoiding safety hazards such as high-altitude and field live testing; Equipped with high-precision external irradiance sensors and component temperature probes, real-time collection of on-site environmental parameters, one click completion of STC standard operating condition conversion, no need for manual correction of data, can complete full parameter scanning of a single component in 10 seconds, and complete detection of a single string takes no more than 3 minutes, which is more than three times more efficient than traditional desktop devices.
The operating end is equipped with a high-definition touch screen visible under sunlight, a multilingual intelligent operating system, and a Chinese visual menu to simplify the operation logic. Zero basic operation and maintenance personnel can independently get started after a short training. The body is equipped with a large capacity local storage, which can retain more than 2000 sets of IV curve raw data. It supports SD card expansion, USB wired, Bluetooth wireless multi-channel data export, and is matched with LAILX exclusive PC analysis software. It automatically generates detection reports, efficiency statistics tables, and lists of faulty components, making it convenient for EPC enterprises to complete completion archiving, third-party organizations to issue authoritative testing documents, and operation and maintenance units to establish full lifecycle archives of power station components.
In practical applications, LX-PV33 has been deployed in bulk in centralized photovoltaics in the northwest desert, rooftop power stations for industry and commerce in the east China, and complementary projects for agriculture and photovoltaics in the south China. It has assisted dozens of third-party testing laboratories in improving the quality inspection plan for double glass components.
