A large number of centralized mountain power stations, fishery photovoltaic complementary water photovoltaic, and high support rooftop photovoltaic projects are rapidly being constructed in China. These power stations have complex terrain and wide array distribution. Traditional ground portable EL detectors are used, requiring personnel to set up equipment and transport equipment in rows. It is difficult for personnel to reach some areas, and the safety risks of operations are high. The complete EL survey of MW level power stations requires a lot of manpower and time, and the inspection cost is high. The traditional manual EL inspection mode is difficult to meet the needs of large-scale defect screening in large power plants, and the industry urgently needs an efficient and adaptable EL detection solution for complex terrains. Shanghai LAILX is deeply committed to photovoltaic EL detection technology, combining unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight platforms with self-developed infrared imaging technology to launch the LXH210 UAV EL detection system, which enables large-scale aerial EL inspection of photovoltaic arrays, solves the detection problems of mountainous, water surface, and high support power stations, and promotes the innovation and upgrading of photovoltaic defect inspection modes. Photovoltaic power station EL testing equipment
The LXH210 unmanned aerial vehicle EL detection system adopts an industrial grade RTK unmanned aerial vehicle flight platform, with a single flight endurance of up to 55 minutes and a maximum distance of 15 kilometers for image transmission control. It has strong flight stability and is equipped with multiple obstacle avoidance and link backup protection to ensure the safety of night EL detection flight operations. It is suitable for work scenarios that are difficult for personnel to reach, such as mountainous terrain, water surface fishing light power stations, and large rooftop high support photovoltaics. It avoids the risks of high-altitude and complex site operations and significantly improves the safety of detection operations. The equipment is equipped with LAILX self-developed shortwave infrared EL imaging gimbal, equipped with patented flight state fully automatic focusing technology. Real time automatic focusing is achieved during the drone's mobile aerial photography process, eliminating manual focusing operation. There is no trailing image in the flight shooting, and the imaging quality is clear. It can identify various internal defects of components such as hidden cracks, broken grids, virtual welding, fragments, and hot spots. The system supports two operation modes: photography and imaging, and video scanning. The operation mode can be flexibly switched according to project needs. Under actual testing conditions, it only takes about 3 hours to complete EL detection of a 1MW scale photovoltaic power plant. Compared with traditional ground detection, the operation efficiency is doubled, greatly reducing the overall inspection period of large power plants.
The entire system includes a drone flight platform, EL infrared imaging gimbal, string programmable power supply, and AI analysis software platform. The programmable power supply enables remote power supply to the photovoltaic string, eliminating the need for inspection personnel to follow the drone to move and connect wires one by one, ensuring the continuity of large-scale inspections. The drone is equipped with a high-precision RTK positioning module, and each EL image is accompanied by accurate latitude and longitude position information. Component defects can be directly traced geographically, and after receiving the report, the operation and maintenance can directly locate the faulty components without repeatedly checking and searching on site, greatly improving the efficiency of defect elimination work. Equipped with the LAILX cloud AI intelligent diagnostic platform, it automatically analyzes batch EL images, identifies and marks various defects, completes defect classification and statistics, automatically outputs complete power plant inspection reports, reduces the huge workload of manually analyzing each image one by one, and reduces the dependence on the interpretation experience of inspection personnel. At the same time, the inspection images, location information, and reports are retained in the cloud for easy data retrospective comparison and tracking of component defect development and changes in the future.
The application scenarios of LXH210 drone EL detection system are very diverse, which can be used for EL sampling inspection of newly built large-scale photovoltaic power plants, as well as for annual comprehensive defect survey of existing power plants. It plays an irreplaceable role in projects that are difficult to carry out with traditional detection methods such as mountains, water, and high supports. The equipment can also serve third-party testing agencies and the operation and maintenance departments of large power generation groups, meeting the needs of large-scale power station testing tasks. Of course, drone EL detection does not completely replace ground portable EL devices. The two complement each other. Drones complete large-scale rapid initial screening, identify problems, and then use ground equipment to conduct on-site review and confirmation, building an efficient detection process of "large-scale initial screening+fixed-point review".

The photovoltaic industry has entered the era of stock operation and maintenance, and efficient screening of internal hidden dangers in components to reduce power generation losses has become an important goal for power station operation. The LAILX LXH210 drone EL detection system deeply integrates drone technology and EL non-destructive testing to solve the industry pain points of low inspection efficiency and high operational risks in complex terrain power plants. It uses intelligent means to enhance the defect inspection capability of photovoltaic power plants, help large-scale photovoltaic power plants improve quality and efficiency, and provide advanced detection equipment support for the high-quality development of the photovoltaic industry.
