With the widespread popularity of new and efficient photovoltaic modules, thin silicon wafers, large-sized, and double-sided modules have become the mainstream in the market. During the transportation, installation, and long-term operation of the modules, hidden defects such as internal cracks, broken grids, virtual soldering, PID attenuation, and laminated bubbles that are not visible to the naked eye are easily generated. EL electroluminescence testing is currently the only non-destructive testing method that can visually present the internal microstructure of photovoltaic modules. Industry standards require that newly built photovoltaic power plants must complete EL sampling for incoming modules and completion deliveries. Existing power plants conduct comprehensive EL defect screening every year to avoid long-term economic losses caused by the operation of batch faulty modules. The LXG50 relies on LAILX's self-developed high-sensitivity infrared imaging sensor, which greatly improves the imaging pixels and can accurately capture micro scale fine cracks, fine virtual welding, blackening of battery cells, edge fragments and other small defects. It optimizes the low-voltage imaging algorithm for HJT and TOPCon ultra-thin silicon wafer components to avoid secondary damage caused by high-voltage reverse power supply. The detection rate of microcracks in thin silicon wafers has been increased to over 98%, solving the problem of missed and misjudged detection of new components by similar devices on the market.

The outdoor operation adaptation capability of the equipment has been fully upgraded, equipped with a patented strong light suppression optical filtering system, which does not require the construction of shading and dark sheds. It can still output clear and uniform EL imaging images in high light environments at noon, completely changing the limitations of traditional EL equipment that can only operate at night and on cloudy days, and greatly improving the utilization of inspection time. The whole machine is integrated with a power supply host, imaging and shooting module, and portable tripod. The total weight after storage is only 12kg. The aluminum alloy shock resistant protective box is easy to carry and transport, and a single person can independently complete the entire process of installation, debugging, and shooting in complex venues such as roofs, mountains, and floating photovoltaics on water surfaces, without the need for multiple people to work together. The power supply module is equipped with a large capacity long-lasting lithium battery, which supports continuous 8-hour uninterrupted shooting. The intelligent operating system significantly reduces the threshold for device usage. The LXG50 supports wireless Bluetooth remote control of tablets, allowing staff to adjust focus, capture, and review images from a distance while standing on the ground, without the need for climbing scaffolds for close range operations, thus avoiding safety risks in high-altitude operations. The device is equipped with an AI intelligent defect recognition algorithm, which automatically identifies four core defects: hidden cracks, broken grids, virtual soldering, and PID after shooting is completed. The defect location is marked and the proportion of defect area is calculated. There is no need for manual frame by frame visual screening, and more than 400 components can be detected in a single day, doubling the detection efficiency compared to traditional models. Local high-capacity storage of captured images, supporting wireless synchronization to cloud platforms, equipped with professional analysis software for batch splicing of panoramic EL images of the array, generating standardized defect detection reports, clearly distinguishing incoming material defects, construction damage, and operational attenuation faults, providing authoritative image basis for engineering quality assurance disputes and insurance loss assessment.

The multi scenario landing verification fully demonstrates the practical value of LXG50. A third-party photovoltaic testing institution is equipped with more than ten LXG50 units to serve national industrial and commercial photovoltaic acceptance projects. In just six months, it has completed EL testing for over 200 distributed power stations, accurately screening thousands of faulty components with internal hidden cracks, assisting owners in completing supplier returns and exchanges, and avoiding long-term power generation losses from the source; In the annual operation and maintenance of large-scale ground photovoltaic power stations in the western region, the operation and maintenance team utilized the advantage of all-weather equipment detection to simultaneously complete daytime IV power testing and EL defect imaging.
